Southampton was the departure point for the Titanic. The spitfire was also built here. She was proud of me beating my addiction and, to be honest, it's really helped our relationship as she can't help but feel responsible for me losing my s@%t.” Layla didn't want her parents to give her money, though they are pretty wealthy. She wanted to pay her own way. Her parents paid for her tuition, but she wanted to pay her living expenses and rent. 

She was introduced to escorting by a friend who was escorting to pay for university. The girl in question was constantly being asked to do roleplay, and turned these jobs down because she said she studied Mathematics not acting. She told Layla that she would be good at it and earn great money with the flexibility to be able to study and go to auditions. 

At first Layla was sceptical, but after several emails between her and the guy who wanted the role play, she thought she would bite the bullet and do it. The gent was very affluent and had a thing for police women. Layla had to dress in costume, arrest him and take care of his “truncheon”. She admitted the sex part was hard at first, but the lure of the money was too much: “I'm an actress I winged the sex part! Eventually I got used to it. I won't be doing this forever. I graduate next year and then once I can support myself through acting I will stop.” She added that she could never tell her parents as her mother would “explode” and drag her back to

London. She says she loves being out of her mother's controlling grasp and, though she loves her, realises she needs breathing space: “I'm not ashamed to be an escort at all. There's nothing wrong with it, it's honest work and most of the men I see are quite high up members of society who need a release from the pressures of their job. I can also “practice”. Role playing is good for acting experience, I even learn all about different people and personalities, which I can put into my future roles.” 

Layla says escorting has helped her become more independent and the nature of the job keeps her grounded and also because she works evenings a lot of the time, she is too busy to ever consider going out partying again and being led astray once more. 

OMG encounters 

One of the strangest roleplay requests Layla had was that she had to pretend to be a corpse. The client gave her a prerequisite on how he'd like her to look and one of these stipulations was that she had to have auburn hair. He provided a wig. She had to lay completely still on the bed with her eyes closed whilst the gent marvelled at her for thirty minutes then left. He later sent her a message thanking her. His wife had died several months earlier and he couldn't bring himself to go and see her in the chapel of rest. Layla resembled his late wife especially once she donned the auburn wig. He now felt at peace. 

Another was a man who was obsessed with The Jungle Book as a child, especially the infamous scene with Ka the snake. Layla had to dress in a snakeskin outfit and provocatively dance to the song “Trust in me” as the man relieved himself.
